Maggie Villarroel

Maggie Villarroel is the MMESC Identification and Recruitment Coordinator. She is responsible for the identification and recruitment efforts of all eligible migrant students. She works closely with the recruiters in an effort to find and enroll migrant students into the program.

Some of her experience includes working with Database as a Cost Auditor for the Operations Accounting Department for Garan Manufacturing. Ms. Villarroel is a native of the Republic of Venezuela and speaks fluently Spanish and English. She received an Associate’s Degree in Computer Programming in 1995. Then, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Mississippi University of Women in 2010. She holds a Master of Arts in Foreign Languages from Mississippi State University. Maggie became a member of the Migrant Education Program team in October of 2017. She is overjoyed to participate and contribute to the migrant community in Mississippi.
