Sol Ramirez

Sol Ramirez is the Parent & Education Coordinator for the Mississippi Migrant Education Service Center. Born and raised in Mexico, she moved to Oklahoma to work and pursue a M.S. in International Studies and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at Oklahoma State University.

Her professional experience includes teaching, research, strategic communication, customer service, and partnerships and outreach for higher education. She is a strong believer that having education and being exposed to different cultures is one of the pillars to build a stronger society. In her free time, she loves to solve puzzles, write poetry, and sing. Her perfect day includes hiking with her family and dog, eating Indian food, and watching a good movie.
